Phil Taylor lab at Acadia UniversityMy students and I work mainly, but not exclusively, on questions of landscape ecology. We focus on examining movement patterns of animals and how these patterns influence distribution and population dynamics at large spatial scales. We typically use such tools as geographic information systems, remote sensing, individual-based simulation modelling, and statistical modelling on a wade range of taxa: birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and insects.
